Who we are
Omnio is a customer messaging service run by SAWEGO DIGITAL SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ (Sawego Digital sp. z o.o.), Aleja Zjednoczenia 17 / U-1, 01-829 Warszawa, Poland, KRS 0001208463, NIP 1182318629, REGON 543370038, share capital PLN 5,000. You can reach us about privacy at privacy@sawego.com.
Omnio holds two kinds of data, and our role differs for each. For the accounts of the people who use Omnio, we decide how the data is used and are the controller under the GDPR. For the conversations and contacts a business keeps in Omnio, that business is the controller and we process the data on its behalf and only on its instructions.
What we process
- Account data, such as your name, work email, role, organisation, profile picture, and records of sign in and two-step verification.
- Contact data a business stores, such as names, phone numbers, Customer IDs, tags, lifecycle stages, custom fields and notes.
- The text of messages exchanged with customers on connected channels, with their delivery and read statuses, and message templates.
- Media sent or received in conversations, such as images, voice notes, videos and documents.
- Technical data, such as API keys (stored as hashes), webhook endpoints and their delivery logs, security and audit logs, and basic usage logs.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use message content to advertise or to train models.
Why we process it
- We run the service with it, showing conversations, sending and receiving messages, keeping contacts and delivering webhooks. This rests on our contract with the business.
- We keep accounts secure with sign in, two-step verification and abuse prevention. This rests on our legitimate interest in a secure service.
- We bill and keep accounting records because the law requires it.
- We answer you when you contact us, based on our legitimate interest or on your consent where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with providers that help us run Omnio, under contracts that bind them to protect it:
- Meta Platforms, for the WhatsApp Business Platform and the other Meta channels a business connects. Messages travel through Meta to reach customers.
- Cloudflare, for media storage (R2).
- Our hosting provider, for servers and databases in [OWNER: hosting region, e.g. the European Union].
- [OWNER: email provider used for invitations and sign-in emails]
Each channel a business connects has its own terms and privacy policy, which apply to the messages carried on it. When data leaves the region where it is stored, we rely on the safeguards the law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Account, contact, message and media data are kept for as long as the workspace is active. A business can delete contacts and conversations at any time.
- Once a workspace is closed, its data is deleted within [OWNER: e.g. 30 days] and leaves our backups within [OWNER: e.g. 35 days].
- Webhook delivery logs are kept for [OWNER: e.g. 30 days].
- Billing records are kept for [OWNER: e.g. 10 years, as accounting law requires].
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw any consent you gave. Write to privacy@sawego.com. We answer within one month.
If you wrote to a business that uses Omnio, that business controls your data; contact it first. We will pass on any request that reaches us and help it answer.
You can also complain to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland, or the authority where you live or work.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Each organisation is isolated from the others in our database. Sign in requires two-step verification, API keys are stored only as hashes, and webhooks are signed so receivers can check they came from Omnio.
